I suppose I should start by introducing myself, and letting you know what you can expect from this blog. My name is Glenn, and I have lived on the Outer Banks for 9 years. I moved here from my home state of Alabama, and have adjusted pretty well (I think) to life on the beach.
What you’ll find here is news, comment, opinion, and other information about this area. I’ll share restaurant and event reviews, both good and not so good. Most of my writing will be about the Outer Banks between Corolla (which does NOT sound the same as the Japanese car), to Nags Head. Occasionally, I’ll write about Hatteras Island and Manteo as well.
Some of the posts will be short, and some will qualify for book-length status (I’m stretching with that last comment, but you get the idea). There will be typos, exceedingly incorrect grammar, and other flaws in my writing. I accept that about my writing, and so should my readers.
But, enough about me. Let the writing begin. More to come soon.
